Opportunity

This race series has been surviving with only instagram and a race flyer. They wanted a website to help them grow the race to a sustainable, year-after-year event, by gathering emails, improving ease of finding information, and increasing the amount of registered participants.

20%*

new event registrations

50%*

10x

Work showcase

01

A website designed specifically to help racers find the right information for race day, and to help the event attract more participants and volunteers.

02

Lo-fi wireframes help set the stage for designs and ensure we're on the right track before adding in visual design elements.

03

Race day information for racers to find all the details they might need for the event such as any updates, the day's schedule, start location, and route course with map links to important places.

04

A place for racers to discover updates and need-to-know information on race day, as well as sign up for the race or the series. The simplest form was used for the event organizer to provide quick and easy updates, even while out at the race.

05

The race had never gathered email sign-ups before - this is a gamechanger for finding volunteers, letting folks know about future races, and getting information out to racers.

06

A bike race can take 30 volunteers per day to run so Red R needed a sleek way to gather, muster, and deploy volunteers.
